United Church Winchester

Welcome to the United Church Winchester.

We invite all those who want to share in the exploration of what the Christian faith means to join us in worship and fellowship. We offer lively, relevant and interesting worship and assure you of a warm welcome.

As well as services on Sundays and Friday and groups who meet for fellowship, we have a Coffee Bar which is open to the public every week day morning from 10am - 2pm and on Saturdays from 10am - 12pm.  We also host various events open to one and all.

Please use the navigation list to explore what the church offers more.

Space in the City

The Autumn series is entitled “Engaging with God: Worship, Ways and Words”, Wednesdays 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 October, and 6, 13 November from 12.30pm until 1pm.

The talks will look at whether worship has become a spectator sport or is better seen, as in tradition, the 'work of the people'.  And if our work, then how do we express ourselves in this labour of love?  The speakers will explore liturgy in music, sacred space, children's work, the Eucharist, baptism, and in funerals.

Sandwiches available after each talk.

Previous series: If you missed the talks or would like to hear them again, recordings are available to play or download from http://www.spaceinthecity.org.uk
